History

Academy Achievers is a not-for-profit organisation, set up with an aim to improve the quality of life for local young people ‘in and around Newham’ by offering excellent services which provide a range of educational, social, emotional, cultural, health and wellbeing and recreational opportunities. In addition, we provide training, consulting and informal advice to our users on a wide range of issues and signpost them to the appropriate services for further information. Academy Achievers is a place where young people from diverse backgrounds come to socialise, learn and enjoy. Working in partnership with the local community and voluntary agencies in developing and enhancing our program and adapting to emerging needs and new initiatives. To achieve this there is structured programmes and different activities including training sessions that we put in place to help support young people between the ages of 5-19, with different abilities and who range from different cultures

Our Supporters

We are currently building up a bank of advisors and ambassadors. Advisors are typically educational and community leader experts, who are specialist within their specific line of work. While our ambassadors have experience relevant to the charity’s purpose, they are interested in volunteering to support the development and promotion of different programs and activities available to the children and young people.

If you feel you could contribute to Academy Achievers as an advisor or an ambassador, we would be pleased to hear from you.
